{PERSEUS} PERsuasiveness: Studies on the Effective Use of argumentS
PERSEUS is an interdisciplinary project devoted to persuasion and argumentation. The basic idea is to design formal many-sided model of persuasion and on its basis to create virtual experimental system for researching the effectiveness of convincing.
Since the nature of the persuasion process is very complex, the cross-disciplinary studies on its formalization and implementation should capture diverse aspects. The sources we can find in philosophy, logic and computer science. As a formal basis we use the methodology of multi-agent systems.
On this page you can find basic information about the project and our team. We also remember about our co-workers and friends.
Do not forget to visit sections where we gather everything you should know if you are really interested in persuasion process and successful argumentation: dates of events such as main conferences, workshops, or seminars, links to selected books and articles as well as other interesting www pages. The selection is of course subjective and results from our knowledge of the field.
